Dante Dauz
Photographer
Dante Dauz walked different paths before following his true passion for photography. His experience has made him a jack of all trades: serving as a United States Marine, working in a creativity crushing cubicle as an auto insurance agent, providing personal training services and even assisting a musical composer. It was during that time when his life took a fortuitous turn. He began shooting the orchestral sessions at the composer’s request, and it re-ignited his passion for photography. Dante began seeking knowledge through various outlets, eventually landing at Santa Monica College as a full time photography student.
Dante is an emerging photographer who is drawn to portraiture because of the connection he enjoys creating with people. His relationship and life experiences have informed his artistic vision. He looks for honest moments to capture, whether beautiful or heartbreaking. As he grows as a person, he knows he will grow as a photographer, always looking at life from a new perspective.
