Rigoberto Oquendo—better known as “Chacho”—studied photography in workshops at the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) in Cuba and currently teaches the art and practice of street photography in Havana. Since 2000, Chacho has used a vintage Leica for his black-and-white analog photography, in both medium and large formats. As part of his instruction, Chacho teaches how to make darkroom prints in “less-than-ideal conditions.”
