Iris Nights Lecture Series
Diné artist Will Wilson and Autry Museum Chief Curator Amy Scott’s dialogue covered a broad range of subjects, including the ways indigenous people are taking back the representation of their own cultures through art and photography. Wilson’s long-term projects Auto Immune Response (AIR) and Critical Indigenous Photographic Exchange (CIPX) – from which Wilson’s work in this exhibition derive – served as touchstones for the evening.
