Wallis Annenberg has announced that the Photo Space will not be re-opening. Read her letter of appreciation on the closing of a chapter in Los Angeles.

Born in rural Japan, Yuki Kokubo was raised by two artists in a small artist community. She earned her Bachelor degree in Fine Arts at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she developed several bodies of conceptual work. In recent years her photography has focused on social and environmental issues, such as the Gowanus Canal, which was recently declared a Superfund Site by the EPA. Yuki is in the process of developing a body of work about water issues for the Environmental Defense Fund, where she currently works.
