These images are from her currant five year project on the tribes of the Omo Valley, Ethiopia. Piper Mackay‘s work is primarily based on the African continent, taking her to remote locations, living cross culturally in the villages and environments she is documenting. She believes powerful iamges help shape the view of the world and play an important role in disseminating how cultures and wildlife are coping with the rapid changes happening in the developing world. Her images are licensed through Getty Images and have been displayed at such venues as the Smithsonian, The Museum of History and Industry, The Art Wolfe Gallery, and the G2 Gallery.
