Nick Hawkins is a wildlife photographer and photojournalist specializing in natural history, science and conservation-related issues. A biologist by training, Hawkins believes that photography and storytelling are key components of conservation. His work explores the diversity of life on Earth and brings attention to the impacts of human activity on wildlife.
His work has been featured in BBC Wildlife Magazine, Canadian Wildlife and Canadian Geographic. He was awarded in the Windland Smith Rice International Photography Awards and was the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year, 2014.
