Natalie Keyssar is a freelance photojournalist and a Story Contributor at INSTITUTE. She studied painting in college before pursuing photography, combining her background in fine art and illustration with her fascination with history in the making. She has spent time between Latin America and the US, working on stories related to social justice, youth culture and activism.
Keyssar’s work has been recognized by organizations like Reportage by Getty Images, American Photography, The NPPA, Groundtruth, The IWMF and Voies Off Arles, and has been published by Time, Newsweek, Bloomberg Business Week, California Sunday Magazine, Le Monde M, The Fader, 6 Mois, MSNBC and Stern, among many others.
