Michael Melford’s assignments for the National Geographic Magazine are always celebrating the marvels of our incredible planet. A passionate conservationist, Michael’s features have taken him to some of the most pristine places in the world. After completing over 30 stories for National Geographic Travel Magazine, Michael recently completed his 14th story for National Geographic Magazine. In 2001, Michael shot the very first digital assignment for the National Geographic Society: a feature article on San Diego for Traveler Magazine.
