Tempus Incognitus is Brad Carlile‘s series of photographs depicting hotel rooms in which time and space fade into one another. Each image takes 2-3 days to create from 3-9 exposures at different times of the day. Think Edward Hopper interiors awash in James Turrell colors with David Lynch directing. His solo show was chosen as Portland’s best 2011 photography show and he was a winner in the prestigious Hearst Photography Biennial. He lives in both Portland Oregon and New York City. website
