Andreas Laszlo Konrath was born in 1981, in a small town called Chorleywood just northwest of London. He picked up his first camera shortly after he received a book by Larry Clark for his 18th birthday and later graduated from London Guildhall University in 2003 with a BA in Fine Art.
Konrath’s work has been shown in selected group exhibitions in the United States and London, and he has been published in Interview, New York Magazine, BlackBook, Famous, Nylon, Spin, ESPN The Magazine, Pop Photo, Amelia’s Magazine, It’s Nice That, American Photo, Blink, PDN, Vibe, Document Skateboarding, Vision, Wonderland and Vice, among others. Andreas has been the recipient of PDN’s 30 emerging photographer’s award in 2008 and was a finalist in American Photo’s emerging artists contest of 2007.
