Family Fun Closing Weekend Celebration (Saturday)
PAST EVENT: Sat, Mar 19, 2016
Bring the family and help us mark the closing of our exhibit LIFE: A Journey Through Time at our Family Fun Weekend! Join us in welcoming The Wildlife Learning Center and their exotic rescue animals for meet-and-greet sessions. Don’t forget to bring your camera to snap some photos up close and personal with these gorgeous creatures.
Afterwards, round out the day with a drop-in storytime with Books and Cookies and face painting by Miho Hiramatsu of Rainbow Painted Smiles. The day will conclude with a performance by local children’s music group Move ‘n Play Music.
As a special treat for Saturday visitors, stop by our Awkward Family Photos-themed photo op area in Skylight Studios from 4pm-5:30pm. The creators of Awkward Family Photos, Mike Bender and Doug Chernack, will be on site to do a meet-and-greet and book signing.
