Botanical Photography Workshop with La Fleur Kitchen

with Cherie Marquez
PAST EVENT: Sat, Nov 14, 2015

Roll up your sleeves and join Cherie Marquez of La Fleur Kitchen with this hands-on kokedama and iPhoneography workshop.

Kokedama, Japanese for “moss ball,” is the artform of enclosing a plant’s root mass in moss. Students will learn the basics of creating these simple and beautiful moss balls to have a long-lasting garden in their homes. In the second part of the workshop, students will showcase their completed kokedama gardens and put them on display. Then, Marquez will share how she photographs her work, with tips and tricks for composition and editing using an iPhone, with an eye towards posting images on social media

The workshop fee includes a complete kokedama garden set of three.
